Kanye West has reportedly canceled his 2024 U.S. Presidential Election bid after previously announcing his intention for a second run.

His attorney, Bruce Marks, confirmed the withdrawal, and right-wing pundit Milo Yiannopoulos has left his role as director of political operations for West's campaign.

Despite an October Federal Election Commission filing showing minimal funds, West's 2020 campaign under the Birthday Party banner fell short, with only 60,000 votes in 12 states.

West spoke candidly to Forbes about the challenges he faced, highlighting his concern over the Democratic Party's presumed hold on the Black community. He stated:

“That is a form of racism and white supremacy... if you don’t vote for me, you’re not Black.”
